Use fillers and end panels to close the cabinet schedule

Filler panels occupy planned gaps between cabinetry, walls or adjacent interfaces, while end panels finish an exposed cabinet side. Their purpose and final size depend on the room survey, cabinet position, door and drawer movement, worktop overhang and installation tolerance. Do not order these components from a colour name or nominal dimension alone; mark each panel on the plan and elevation.

Compare the reviewed 600 × 140 × 16 mm natural-oak filler with the 880 × 580 × 16 mm white end panel to distinguish gap-closing and exposed-side roles. The washing-machine angle support and end-panel installation kit are separate accessory references; their hardware, load, fixing substrate and compatibility require confirmation.

Approve dimensions, finish matching and installation scope

Check the exact finished height, width and thickness against the selected cabinet, wall condition, kickboard, worktop and floor build-up. Where a model name states natural oak, black oak, polyurethane black or polyurethane white, approve a representative sample and matching standard. Pattern direction, sheen, edge treatment and batch tolerance can affect coordination with neighbouring fronts.

• Label every filler, end panel and support on the elevation.
• Confirm finished dimensions, scribing allowance and visible edges.
• Identify cabinet and wall fixing points, hardware and installer responsibility.
• Record finish samples, quantity, packing, spares and delivery destination.
